Slow day today. We had booked haircuts so walked up the road to the salon. Good job all round, then coffee and a meander in the main street of Maisons-Lafitte. night we walked to the point on the Seine, where we were to embark for our
dinner – cruise. It’s only a relatively short walk through the Louvre and
across one of the bridges. The bridge closest to where the boat was parked (I

... got back to our room with the pizzas, opened them up, commented how perfect they looked and smelled, then realized they weren't cut! How the heck does a chef not cut a pizza? Is this a French thing? Maybe that's why they seem so grumpy all the time, they have to cut their own pizzas.
