Today was unexpectedly sunny! We woke with a hot sun streaming in through our window, and the pitter patter of last nights rain had disappeared without a trace. After walking down and getting some fresh croissants to have with our coffee and orange juice, we left to walk through the small city and then stroll around the river and the little lake, surrounded by trees and grass ad wildflowers. It was beautiful, the swans and geese glided by us and ...

    ... made a new friend!

On Wednesday we had Corporate Finance at 8am. Lina and I certainly struggled to wake up that morning since we had been waking up early every day of the week and would continue to do so until the end of the week. I laid in bed for too long, yearning to stay in the warmth for a little longer, so I did not have enough time to grab breakfast! ... the history behind this place.

A second favorite would probably be Parc de la Pepiniere, which was sort of like the NY Central Park. The place was filled with so many people, you couldn't help but smile. There was a small carnival, an outdoor zoo, and delicious smelling food kioks. The children looked so happy walking around the carnival their crepes and waffles. There was a definite magic in the air, and romance for all the couples spotted lounging on blankets.

... off - he had said earlier how sarcasm/irony were another language of his, so I just figured he was joking. Nope, he was serious. During our second session this afternoon, he asked us to put our answers in a piece of paper and write our name on it. The correct answer was the media (we should have known, that was the topic of wednesday's class!) and only one student got the correct answer (our mix of students includes a few Germans, many Americans, many Mexicans, one from ...

    ... it in time.

Lina, Harlea and I had a dinner date together at 7pm, and we had soup and crackers. I had bought brie cheese to taste, so we had that as well. After dinner, I had the chance to talk to my parents. It was such a fulfilling feeling to share everything I've learned about the French culture. I love that manners are emphasized so much. In the streets, everyone says Bonjour and Bonsoir.

My apartment is finally starting to feel like "home." I have ...
