Today we got up at 4.15am to go for our last early morning bike ride, our second in total. I had cocopops with orange juice and a glass of water. ... for work to attend. Was sat next to an old French man who was a bit of a perv, and didn't stop talking, even if it meant cutting other people's conversations! But still managed to speak to some new French people, including a 16 year old girl who speaks amazing English despite only learning it at school - very inspiring. Got back and found Gaëlle home (early for her!) and worried as she had sent me a text but ...

... returned, then did some more grammar exercises which Gaëlle corrected for me, then watched the news and saw a bit of the Cannes film festival. We ate outside (I was able to wear shorts for the first time today) and then moved inside to escape the cold to continue our conversations. Fred is really like Cath's Fred, constantly teasing me... I try and give what I get, but it's a bit hard ...
