... is fine, there was another hostel confirmation that I got saying that we had to pay for the room in cash, but this one did not. He asked some weird questions and I’m pretty sure it was a guy saying he had a hostel, but really just rented out rooms to people for a couple of nights or a week, however long they dared to stay. Great views from top of tower ...

We finally get the bikes back to the shop in Montpellier, mine to be repaired and serviced and Patrick's to be serviced. Will return after 4 to collect. Filthy weather with lots of rain so bit of a boring, hanging about sort of day. We had intended to walk round Montpellier but changed our minds and went back to gite. I drive back after 4 to be told that all ...

      Day 24 - Montpellier

... for work to attend. Was sat next to an old French man who was a bit of a perv, and didn't stop talking, even if it meant cutting other people's conversations! But still managed to speak to some new French people, including a 16 year old girl who speaks amazing English despite only learning it at school - very inspiring. Got back and found Gaëlle home (early for her!) and worried as she had sent me a text but ...
