... patrons boring into the us. I order a Sprite. The waiter says they don't have Sprite. I think that such common drinks are probably beneath them. We order main courses, eat them as quickly as we can, and leave. We go into the Basilica. It is very impressive. The crypt underneath it has a chapel that is nearly as big as the main church above. We walk back down into old Lyon along a very windy path down the hill. This goes through a park which has lots ...

We walked down the hill and explored the old city and some of the Traboules or secret ...

Something for our next visit, perhaps. In the streets and on the Métro Yalini comments that there is much more space, and people seem more relaxed. I can't help but observe that they also seem much more, well … boring. Sorry, Lyon, but Paris is my kinda town. This is amusing given that Yalini ...

Lyon. The third biggest city of France, yet with such a local and cozy feeling to it. Beautiful tall buildings towering over narrow streets.

One of the first things we saw were an awesome looking castle up in the nearby mountains on the outskirts of town. "So this is where Disneyland Paris is. Well, no way we are getting there with just one day here." But how wrong was I!
