We left Sauvignone soon after 09:00 and took the autostrade to Turin and then onwards to Briancon. ... the tour was over we made one more stop at L'Atelier de la Soierie. This silk workshop has been in business and passed through generations since 1865, and they make all their scarfs in house, some still hand painted. Beautiful pieces...and reflected in the prices!! We finished off our days with some awesome pizza france style....super super thin crust like I've never seen! We have all our back packed and ready for morning. Plenty of photos later (we snuck into the team area), the stage starts at 10:35 and the masses head home. We were on our way too back to Lyon for a look around. We didn't expect much to be open given it was Sunday and Bastille Day to boot.
