... Silly Emily for once drove us right up to the entrance to the aire, which is also by a river under trees so it is very wet everywhere. However, for 5 euros per night we have a level gravelly spot with electricity so may have the heating on shortly. We are not planning on going out tonight and will just have to see what tomorrow brings.
Interesting village where Van Gogh lived the last 70 days of his life & where he is buried. He painted 80 paintings & 100+ drawings during this time! Once again we're having unusually nice weather. We are staying here for another day. We aren't sure yet where we will go after this. But there are several places that we are considering, including Orleans, Blois and Chinon.
