    ... eight french speaking people was a challenge of understanding and patience but two of the guests were pilgrims doing 2 weeks per year hiking the camino and they had a little english to go with Laurie's little french so we got on fine until the politics came out and it got beyond our capacity.     ... block only one cubicle was occupied. So naturally I went to the other end, got my kit off trying to avoid dropping clean clothes on the wet floor, only to hear two voices coming from the occupied cubicle! Male and Female I should add.     ... final episode of Poldark - knowing that the bells would start again at 7 am, - it was not well received.

    I had visions of throttling the bell-ringer like some crazed hunchback of Notre Dame - but hunched over with griping pains. Or chucking their music system out of the clock tower as I don't imagine there's a real person sitting there doing all this bell ringing.
