... br> It was time to go home. We had to catch the ferry back from Le Havre at 12md on Friday. Between us and there was 300+ miles. Even though Will has performed really well it was too much to ask to knock out that distance in one day on a motorised razor blade. After Pontivy the sun came out to play, one minor satnav cock up getting out of Pontivy but then a straight run through Quimperle, Moelan Sur Mer and then Kerfany. Absolutely brilliant riding. Will's bike was thirsty so we topped up en route at Moelan.Garmin really are **** at navigating you through towns, pick shortest route to avoid the dual carriageways but then come to a town and it takes you down every alleyway it can find, as near as damn it as the crow flies. Quimperle was ...

QUESTION: What do you call a collection of bad tempered, bigoted, flatulent, miserable, stupid old people?
    ANSWER: My fellow passengers!
I have been told off by the wife for being very negative about this trip. I did mention to Min that it was she who was always going on about "it wasn't like this on the Anthem", but that did not move her. So I'm going to be all sweetness and light from now on.
I am delighted to be able to tell you that the ...
