... returned home for the end of year holidays. Everyone's really nice and enthusiastic about life. I was surprised to find that all members of the family speak English. Obviously, we only ever communicate in French since that's what I'm here for, but occasionally they throw out a heavily accented word in English, and I LOVE that.
