We just sat at the top of the dune for a while and took it all in. Again, another place to bring the parents, maybe with a picnic and some nice Bordeaux wine! New Years night consisted of a quiet night in, as Jayden had to travel for an away game a couple of days later. Unfortunately, the UBB went down to Racing Metro ...

... headed out for a beer, a feed and some Bordeaux vino. Decided on a great little restaurant named Le Rohan beside the Hotel de Ville and it was fantastic, great waiter/ owner and very talkative, in English. The French rugby grand final was on TV between Toulon and Clermont with a lot of animated spectators and Toulon taking it out by 1 point. We had a bottle of local Chateau Sissan 2009 Grand Reserve, it was so easy to drink and smooth! Great day sightseeing and even greater night ...
