... to think that literally overnight Berlin was isolated, and if you didn't react quick enough or weren't willing to leave your property, life etc you would later find yourself living under a communist regime. After the watch tower, we trekked to the Stasi museum. The Stasi were East Germans secret police, the biggest of the Cold War. ... except for the coffee I had that tasted very strange. Got home and then went out to dinner with Mez and James. Wanted German but were in more of a Mediterranean area so settle for something though still not sure of what type of place it was. Pete and I had meaty stews and James and Mez had pasta. Day 28... Mauerpark!

Paul and I woke up this morning at about 11am and cooked breakfast for everyone. Ole had given us some hollumi from the afternoon before so we cooked it up with mushrooms, poached eggs, and the rest of the cheese and bread and olives from the weekend.

Marc put the coffees on and we all sat in his front porch leisurely eating breakfast. It was so relaxing :-)
