      ... get canceled or not. I completely lucked out. I mean, it was a miracle my flight wasn't canceled. 3,800 flights were, and somehow mine slipped under the radar. Paris was meant to be!
      I had a layover in Munich, Germany, which was awesome because I was able to utilize my (minuscule) German skills. I ordered a beer and pretended to be at Oktoberfest. Maybe I'll just extend my trip through October and make it happen!Hey, a girl can dream. ...

      ... t. Had to leave Jeff's runners and my old Furla bag behind and also had another shopping bag of new clothes! Another longchamp purchase at the airport I think!!!! Off to a last lunch at Fish. Fish is great for Sunday lunch and today was no exception. 26.50 euro for three courses so great value as well, there were 9 of us. We both had a fabulous fish soup to start then some sort of fish with fagola and braised fennel. Tim ordered a plate of cheese for the table and ...

      Croissants for breakfast again then a slower morning before the Louvre Skip the Line tour.
      The guided tour lasted about 2 hours and was well worth it as we were shown exhibits that we would probably have missed due to our limited time there.
      The Mona Lisa was good to see once you battled the crowds to get close enough and the hermaphrodite statue was a surprise (see the photos)

      ... at the train station, so that was weird. After another long sojourn on the RER and the metro, we arrived at our pod, slept for two hours and then set out to meet up with our Fat Tire bike tour of Versailles. Rest? Mais non!
