    ... to climb the steps and be allowed inside. Just past the Palais was the Champs-Elysees which was busy with traffic, but I stopped halfway across and tried to take a picture of the Arc de Triomphe way way in the distance. Well I did, but it won't win any competitions.

    ... then all the way into a huge forest then down another couple hills. So we tried to find it but after getting stuck in a whole bunch of prickly bushes and then we finally gave up.     After the happy reunion in the foyer of the hotel, we headed out to find some place to eat--none of us had eaten much that day and it was 2:00pm!--while we waited for their room to be ready.     ... We were looking for the catecombs and this elderly lady walked across the street to help us. Then I was in line to get in and Gloria escorted Denise to a cafe where she was going to wait for us and they saw the lady again...
