    ... a restaurant Alecia and I had tried before. I had french onion soup and duck a l'orange--they were amazing. For dessert we both had an "assiette a dessert," which was an assortment of desserts (assiette actually translates to plate--a dessert plate ).     ... busy streets, no open spaces to take the kids, lots of crosswalks and lots of cigarette smoke. Not easy if you have a stroller with 2 kids.

    Being near a park was also important since we want to maintain our strict 3 times a week outdoor run schedule. But the distance was also the downside - it would means a 30 - 40 minute train ride to work (even though the driving distance is just 7.3 km) which is in the heart of town.
