A travel blog entry by johndibbo on Nov 20, 2014

Ended up here agin after inspecting two other aires, both OK but a bit dirty underfoot and one had to pay. Le Hourdel is free and this time we managed to park on the edge of the beach with clear views across Le Baie du Somme. Excellent walks and this morning lucky to observe a couple of seals swimming in close with the high tide, absolutely brilliant nothing like seeing seals in the wild. No photos as they move too quickly for our ...

The across to St Sever Cemetery which is quite large and WOODLAND not in any of the book lists so found him by looking at date of death and also a special section for officers ??? Then off to Saint Marie Cemetery which was also very large and had 5 CWGC sections...Finally found the last soldier for this trip and headed north to find the campsite for the ...

... be moving on from Veules-les-Roses again and I think we will all be sad to leave again as it is just a really nice place that we all seem to have a really good time in. It's not a place for adventure, more for relaxing and having a lazy wander and despite the fact that we must have seen just about every street in the village it is not somewhere we have got bored with. Perhaps when we move to France this is where we will come ...
