A really good night's sleep ended with a drizzly morning. It was a day of showers and sunshine with some heavy rain thrown in.
And the sensor light reappeared. Just about the same area as last year, it lit up. We are used to it - it will get done again when we get home, but until then we carry on as normal.
And then the news on twitter and Facebook that the school would be closed ...

... had ever had a red Sancerre and that was my favorite. Dominique told us that the red Sancerre wines have not been exported to the US until recently. We left with some whites and reds and wished we could carry more.

... to get to the town it finishes in, Saint Amand Montrond.Driving thru the course towns are all set up and putting up decos and really into the mood of things, I bought a baguette, a breakfast pastry and some Froie Gras for our lunch, almost half of my daily budget on that but it will do a few days, especially if I hide it from Kerry...We drive into Saint Amand Montrond and spot our parking spot, only 3 ks to go ...
