... for Fatima. After probably our best breakfast so far, it was time to take on the day. For our only full day in the city we decided to take a self-guided tour through the vineyards. We found a nice map of the vineyards and set out on our way.

The vineyards were beautiful. They stretched all throughout the countryside of Beaune. As we walked through the hills we ...

... From Beaune, enjoy a scenic ride along Burgundy's Route des Vins ("Wine Road") as you proceed to Macon, arriving in the late afternoon. Here, your France River Cruise Tour begins as you embark your ship.

This evening, you'll gather with your fellow passengers and meet your ship's crew. After savoring your first dinner aboard the ship, enjoy an onboard activity.

We were pretty stoked. The tour was excellent. It wasn't too long and it was interactive enough to keep you interested. It was wonderful to walk through the area where they age all of the barrels of cognac and see all the different years on the barrels. One barrel that was still being aged was from 1893. We ...

... historic sites. The town is filled with wine lovers wanting to taste Pinot Noir and C******nay grapes. The town has an impressive and fairly intact outer wall. Inside are a lot of wine shops and restaurants. We had a pleasant dinner sitting outside at a restaurant between two pedestrian lanes. It was great people watching. Red pants are really in.... We tried to stay awake until dark but didn't make it. Tomorrow we plan to make a full tourist ...
