    ... Alyssa had a more simple salad but hers came with pieces of bread that had cheese baked onto the tops of them.

    We continued with our mains, a boeuf bourgogneon for Alyssa and a seared veal tenderloin for me. Both of us were quiet during this part of the meal as we were both very much enjoying our mains.

    ... high, so we had a relaxing morning instead. Since being in France, we have seen a lot of 'Desperate Housewives' which I never once watched back home but it's the only show in English here! So, we may have watched an episode or two of that this morning. I know, we're terrible. Plus now I'll have to watch it on Netflix when I get home, because it's addicting!

    ... forgotten about this choice and he was quick to point out that it was not ‘our pudding", and I smiled at his choice of words. It tasted like a very sour yogurt…haha David’s tastebuds went into melt down and I explained I thought it was served as a palate cleanser like Sorbet.

    Out came desserts and they were also delicious. David had a meringue/icecream raspberry cake (I think this was the better choice) and I had a chocolate ...

    ... I walked around in awe of the beautiful buildings and wished we had more time here. Seems like there is a lot to do in the immediate area…in particular wine tasting!! And there were so many wonderful shops with really interesting things, one of which specialised in Nougat. I hadn’t seen anything like that before! I began my attempt to convince David to stay an extra night.

    ... I bought a bottle of red wine. I don't usually drink wine but I am making an exception. Last night I got a dirty look from the waiter when I said I didn't want wine. I think the French (and the Italians) get insulted if you don't drink their wine.
