... totally forgotten about the extra course that my meal came with - cheese! Placed in front of me was a rather hefty wedge of semi-soft cheese with a salty rind upon crushed walnuts and little pieces of toasted 'pain d'épices'.

After eating ALL of that we got on to dessert. I had a massive crème brûlée and Alyssa had some pain d'épices and ice cream.

... we did not realize how remote the location was…in the middle of nowhere and about 40km from Beaune. Hmmmm the b&b was very average but understandably of course you get what you pay for and it was cheap. It was still warm and comfortable and we quickly organized our ‘picnic’ dinner on the bed and tucked in. We actually really enjoyed it and I liked not feeling so full, compared to how we felt after last night’s ...

We had lunch out on the Aquavit Terrace on the ship. We wanted to take advantage of eating on the deck since it wasn’t raining today. They had flank steak and yummy shrimp sandwiches among other things. During meals drinks are free. I asked for an extra Coke to take with me. They always have a coffee/ tea bar with delicious cookies available. The raisin cookies are to die for! We spent the next few ...
