... to rest at the hotel. We enjoyed a swim in the hotel's pool and relaxed in the Jacuzzi.
In the early evening, our driver and guide collected us from our hotel. We enjoyed a Peking Duck dinner and followed this with watching a performance of the 'Legend of Kung Fu'. This was a wonderful way to complete our time in China. Tomorrow we will finish packing and head back to Beijing International Airport for our flight back home.
... incredible amount of distance that saw us travelling through entire China. If we would be able to plan China again we would definitely cover less distance and stay more in one region (preferably in the beautiful west) to avoid having to spend so much time getting from one place to another. ... I had not had a home cooked dinner like that in over 3 months, and it was absolutely delicious! It was really nice to have food knowing exactly what was in it!
We also finally took our panda onesie pictures, which was met with less confusion by passers-by than I expected. I guess in China, everything is acceptable, even two girls running around in identical panda suits!
Thursday was the big good bye day, and I tearfully accompanied Mel ...
