    ... sunny and hot and walked out to wet, gray and cool?? They have had a tremendous amount of rain over the last number of weeks. The bayous are full. Everyone is sick of it like we were of the snow last winter.

    ... the city was like. It had buildings like Melbourne but still sort of felt like a ghost town for a working day. We found out that there is a tunnel system under the ground with all shops and food outlets for the staff. We went and sussed it out at lunch and there was people everywhere - exactly like Melbourne at lunchtime. We had 2 or 3 episodes of absolute cloudburst, with the rain coming down in a solid dump, at times so hard that we could only see about 10 FT ahead.
