        ... first opened its doors in 1872 and closed its doors 101 years later. One can tour the facilities for a mere $5 bill. Again we didn't because of the heat.

        One of the few bummers of traveling with our canine friends is that their wellbeing takes precedence over our own desires. That is a small price to pay as they give us countless hours of pleasure and companionship.

        ... to the walk. We noticed we were running on empty and we couldn’t get to a petrol station. We programed Ms. Garmin to take us to a station in the town across the river.         ... for her birthday lunch. And of course we made her wear the sombrero. Can't believe she is 17 yrs old. My beautiful niece!

        That night, Brett, Andrea, Scott and I went to Karen's Halloween party. It was an absolute blast! Can't believe how much work she put into it. Great food, drinks, games. Brett & Andrea went as Ms. Pacman and Ghost and Scott & I were pints of beer.

        ... will take a 75-minute trolley tour of the city that will also take us to the historic penitentiary (it is supposedly haunted).
