Another warm, beautiful day. Today we joined a group and went to Oliwa Cathedral located on the grounds of an old Cistercian monastery dating back to the 13th century. It houses three organs consisting of 7,876 tin and wood pipes which can imitate sounds of different instruments and natural voices. There are angels with instruments that play during some of the musical pieces. We listened to the most beautiful performance. Afterwards, we had a guided ...

... matches, Leszek and I finished even, but it was really good fun.
Then came more dancing, more beer, then for some reason I started to be given rather a lot of snuff. Now I had never done snuff before, so thought it would be rude to refuse but wish I had.

Next, we drive to a campsite near Cluj in horrendous traffic, and when ...

    Hmmmmm where to start?
I was riding towards Gdansk, it was a nice day, the roads were good.
    Then this odd motorbike overtook.
I looked, as bikers do we waved, and then later on I caught up with him. I will say this shouldn't of happened because he knew this road and the traffic well, this I found out later.
I overtook, gave a smile at his bike, then pushed on.
Now this is when my weekend changed.
He came past me tapping his tank, ...

Where WW2 began and solidarity - Gdansk

Difficult arrival due to strong winds. Two tugs were employed to help push us into place. Really looking forward to looking around this town. But now, the breakfast buffet is calling. More later. The shuttle bus dropped us a 5 minute walk from the old town, which when revealed was amazing. For a city that saw the first shots of WW2 fired and then completely destroyed, the resurrection of this place is amazing. The buildings are ...
