    ... the game of kubb, aka "Viking Chess." It was Team Sweden (with Samuel and his sons) vs. Team USA (with mom, Katrina and I). There were lots of yes, no, and groans that transcended the language barrier as Team Sweden started off in the lead for half the game until Team USA hit a string of good luck and made a quick wrap-up to take the win.

    And then we ate Swedish candy for dessert, and it was addicting. :) ...
