      ... the Zabriskie lookout for sunset. It was a bit smoky though so didn't get the best views, but it was another place that just didn't look real. Desolate and barrel but strangely beautiful. Tonight we went to a 'dark sky talk' with a ranger, as the NP has a dark sky certification. What a joke, we stargazed from a brightly lit bloody car park.       Howdy from the Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda.

      We had another nice motor today coming up from the Coyote Point Marina to the Encinal Yacht Club. We're still pushing the motor hard to be sure the fuel filter change fixed our engine's hiccups. At this point we think we're good to go. Thank goodness. We really weren't looking forward to finding, dealing with and most of all paying a mechanic.
