... and hanging lights similar to my wedding theme. We went to Yorkville to a roof terrace for dinner and drinks with Libby's friends before she went on a date that I peer pressured her into. After the date she came running out of the bar so we knew it was not the best date ever.. I was feeling a bit emo after a lot of time to think at Niagara Falls so on the way home she suggested a drink at this cool 90's bar. We headed there at 11ish ...

What a lovely relaxing day of touring the local area and organising for the leg of the journey. We visited Merrickville, about 30 minutes away for lunch, a stroll to the shops and the locks, and then arvo tea to finish it off. Have to get used to everything being written in English and ...

Today we gifted Matt with Marmite (a
small token for all the help he's been to us here in Toronto) and
headed out. We mainly needed to do laundry so went to a campground
south of Ottawa (In Johnstown) which is our next stop. The Grenville Park Campground
was very nice, scenic, lots for the kids. On the down side the
showers were $1 a pop, laundry was ...

So we planned our travel day today to be short, so we would have lots of time to get caught up visiting with our friends in Brockville. Only 3 hours on the road! Yahoo! The trip from Petawawa, Pembroke area was picturesque and the time went quickly. We took more of a scenic route rather than the 401. Very much enjoyed the small communities, mostly farming,. The small downtown areas were filled ...

... Sault Parkway, a group of 11 islands linked together with a causeway. They were formed when the area was flooded in 1957 to widen the St Lawrence River to handle larger ships. We have learnt so much about the St Lawrence Seaway on this trip. We stopped at the "Lost Villages" museum & have saw were the road leads into the water!!

          Another interesting stop was ...
