... we hit Jerry Lee Lewis' 'bar. Here were a rockabilly.style trio lead by a man who had a magnificent greasy black ducktail and 50s retro bowling shirt. Tall and Irritatingly cool this man played "killer style " boogie piano, feet on keyboard, pounding with elbows showman ****, until he swapped piano for gee tar and rocked that too! As the show built to a whooping , hollering climax he played a classic rocker, set fire to lighter fuel on piano ...
... and out of the bars. Shame we had to purchase a drink in each one.
We didn't go in this one but we loved the sign.
Barry had a dance when the Elvis impersonator was signing and didn't know I had the camera out. The singer wouldn't allow me to take his pic when Barry sang with him. Spoilt sport.

--Shopping: Three of us girls got off at the south end of Main Street to see some of the shops. So fun to look in the little shops especially Hoot & Louise and the bookstore--check out the children's book "The Unpopular Pea (& Carrot) by Elle Valentine, a local writer--such a great message.

We climbed through the hills for about an hour, and every house we went past (not many) had signs up saying ‘No trespassing’ and stuff. We were a little worried about getting a flat tire, walking up to a house and having someone pointing a rifle at us! We made it out though with no problems.
