Decided to stay close to home today and rest up before tomorrow's big drive. So I started the day with laundry. Following that we drove the short distance into town and went on a walking tour of downtown Visalia. Felt good to be back on the road again. Climbing from the Palm Springs Valley on Highway 62 you start seeing more and more Joshua trees on the sides of the highway. ... was jumping for the ball reach it - what a gentleman haha. The game finally ended in the 11th innings when one of the Visalia players managed to hit a home run - they were playing Bakersfield.
