More window shopping and checked water ferry & train service timetables to make sure that we had plenty of time to catch train from ...

... we asked for the bill by doing the universal writing on the palm and mouthing 'bill,' pretended to not understand so that we keep mouthing it and over exaggerating it for a while until he laughed and finally brought us the bill.  I was so disappointed to miss out on Verona, I wanted to see Juliet's balcony so badly, but it didn't work out in the end and we ended up having lunch in the city and then heading back to the hostel to do ...

... looked like all the existing guests onboard would be disembarking tomorrow. We are still not sure how this worked for those passengers that embarked at Bari or Istanbul. It wasn’t made clear if by ‘the Russians’ it is meant that an Oligarch had chartered the ship or just a travel agent. We shall be keeping a close eye on the ships movements in the week to come!!

We continued with our packing. It was at this point Roisin asked me where my coat ...
