Weather: fine and sunny Twenty minute walk into Piazza San Marco, then lined up to catch lift to the top of the Clock Tower. Magnificent 360 degree views, plenty of photos taken. Then across the Square to visit the Basilica Di San Marco, amazing architecture with finish in tiny mosaic tiles - must have taken tens of years to finish.
