... Venezia! We took our time taking in the scenery from all four sides of the square tower. We were able to spot most of the key areas; St Mark's Square (directly below), The Rialto Bridge, the Basilica and a few more. There were four cruise ships in port. The passengers must still have been on board as it wasn't crowded when we walked through the square.

Had a full and lovely day in venice yesterday - a unique and beautiful city with its canals . We walked all day which was tiring but a good way to see the twisting alleys and get a feel for the city.
