... down the alleys closest to the canal there were rows of what appeared to be long narrow tables running down the center of the walkways. They were only about two feet off the ground and one was stacked upside down on the other. I absently wondered what these tables were used for, but was quickly distracted. ... as to the distance traveled on foot each day.

After a successful day we find ourselves in a restaurant at 8 pm. Aw yes.....finally a place to rest, warm up and fill our bellies. Our plates arrive and the fish stares at us. No time to analyze we dig right in and in minutes we are satisfied. Now we must navigate to our room. Still not sure how we ever make it back in this maze, but we do and crack a bottle of vino. Too tired to consume much we crash for the night.

... found a place to sit along the water at 8:15 to make sure we had good seats. It was curious why there weren't many people seated but we didn't think much of it. After 9:00 had come and gone we asked a couple what time festivities began. They said fireworks started at 11:30!! So we had another 2 hours to kill. So Erin went back to the room to make us some drinks with what was left of our vodka and juice. They ended ...
