The hotel was built in the 1980s and has 80s features like the sink in the room and a very small bathroom (as in stand in tub to close door). The room was a good size and clean. Could use a chair so you don't need to sit on bed. The air conditioner is a wall unit but worked well.

We had a nice drive on Sunday to Bayfield, WI, The drive reminded us of some of the roads in Alaska. Bayfield is a tourist town with a population of less than 500, located on Lake Superior the largest of the Great Lakes with over 37,000 square miles. Also located here is the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, which consists of 21 islands off the coast of the Bayfield Peninsula.
