    ... my map a Statie (MO State Trooper) in a slicktop (Ghost Car, Ford Expedition actually) stopped to see if I was OK. Nice!

    It was I155 as it crossed the border into Tennessee and again as it ring roaded Jackson, TN.     We decided to head home tonight and finish the trip. It's been an amazing few weeks. I've never felt like I've seen so much and been so exhausted from a trip. This will be a trip I remember forever. I've wanted to do a proper road trip since I was a child and it feels good to have finally done it.     Here we are one month from sailing. We have all been on pins and needles waiting for dads passport renewal to to get here and it finally did over the weekend. Note to anyone else traveling on a passport, it is always a good idea to renew once you get into the 6 month window.
