    It was the perfect place for us. The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and the location accessible.

    After leaving Bodega Bay, we veered from our coastal trail and headed east toward the Sonoma Valley wine region where the grape vines take over open fields and the sun warms the dry air.
