Lazy start and we left Buellton, famous as the home of split pea soup and cheap Motels, heading back to take a look around Santa Barbara. ... to see Geula’s cousin Kineret and her husband, Aaron, who live in Oakland. We arrived at their house and were greeted by their adorable dog named Mentch. He was huge and cute. The boys were thrilled. They played with him in the garden before we left for dinner. It was great to spend some time with Kineret and Aaron and hear about their life in the Bay Area and also to be with family, which has been a treat for us on this trip.
