      We all hopped in the car yesterday and headed to Botany Beach, a must see we were told. Botany Bay Plantation Heritage Preserve and Wildlife Management Area is 4,687 acres and consists of two plantations: Bleak Hall and Sea Cloud. The land was acquired by Daniel Townsend in the 1780's whose family owned and farmed until the early 1900's. The property has three miles of ocean front and extensive wetland.

      ... I ran faster than he could keep up with and he just stopped. Having a head way too small for his body, the collar must have just slipped right off. He was then left scared, alone, on the dark beach. We were all finally back together again. Life was good again.

      We had enough excitement for one day. We headed back to The House, where we found the water to be flowing again. We were done!
