          Today was a busy day. When your away you always try to accomplish everything. Today was one of those days.

          We left the house at 09:00 a.m. to meet up with Judy and David who live here in Bluffton. What great people. Jean has known Judy for years and she wanted to make sure that we were introduced so we drove over to their magnificent home in Hampton Hall.

          ... is suffering the effect. He has moved from the couch to his bed. I convinced him to take some allergy medication and hopefully today he can get ahead of it. I believe Foster may have experienced some of this last week as his nose and eyes were watering and he slept every morning and afternoon. Chris as well had some allergy reactions, but Foster and his Daddy were troopers and carried on.

Last night we booked into a motel and went exploring around the numerous islands surrounding Beaufort today but not before we had a big blueberry waffle and endless coffee.           We made it! I had Mandy drive the last section of the journey because there were mountain roads and I'm not good with mountains. I tend to freak out on any curves. If you saw a funny looking guy in Eastern Tennessee with his eyes closed and white-knuckling the dashboard, that was likely me.           We have partaken of the Low-Country Cuisine here. Yesterday for lunch we visited the Shrimp Shack and had a Shrimp Burger. Tonight’s dinner was at The Original Steamer Restaurant, where we had fried oysters and “Frogmore Stew”, a Low-Country Boil of shrimp, smoked sausage, corn, red potatoes, onions, and celery.
