... could barely walk by the cook to get things, it was such a tight space. Had some fantastic pancakes that were way to big to eat. When I took a picture of them the waitress said, "Why did you take a picture? In case you get sick?" LOL. I explained my trip and blog and we chatted up a bit.

Next stop was Minnehaha Falls, which Jeff Woods told me I needed to go to. I'm glad he did. It was beautiful. The snow ...

      Argentina here we come

A travel blog entry by debhooy on Oct 23, 2014

Getting to Argentina is quite the journey for us. We had to leave La Crosse yesterday to drive to Minneapolis. This morning we left Minneapolis at 9:50, we flew to Chicago, then to Miami, and then on to Buenos Aires. We are supposed to arrive there at 7:30 tomorrow morning! It is going to be a very long ...

were amazing and the campground was extremely remote. We were some of
the only people there but it was so nice. All you could hear were the
      sounds of nature around ...

The journey home is long! From St. John's we flew to Halifax, Nova Scotia. From there we flew to Toronto, and then to Minneapolis. We were picked up by Andrew who brought us to our car. Stopped for a bite to eat before making the 3 hour journey home. Feels good to be home, but now I have to face the mountain of laundry and we both have a ton of mail to go through. AHHH, but it is good to be ...

... disappointed and annoyed by how much has changed at Riverfest from the memories I hold. Its funny getting older because the way things I knew growing up are vastly different for those growing up now. I haven't been completely naive to it all, but it hits home when the things you thought would always be there or stay the same have been modernized or vanish. I drove past where I had one of my first jobs, a movie theater, and it was ...
