Well we finally arrived home today!! After 65 days we logged 9,217.7 miles, 201.2 hours driving. 7 states, Alaska and 6 in the lower 48, In Canada, 4 provinces and 1 territory. Bad news. I ended up making the rash and stupid decision to pull out onto the grass, where I promptly ended up spinning my back left tire into oblivion (ie. down to the axle). The shop truck had to tow us out an hour later. (Yesterday morning we ...

... of corn and soy beans. Corn is everywhere! It's tall, it's green and it's worth a lot of money. Perfect growing conditions with ideal rain, hot temperatures and a more than ample amount of humidity. We toured around the countryside, swam in the new pool and then went out for Mexican! Great relaxing ...
