    So we left in drizzle which cleared up,as we drove down the coast. We went through a lot of little towns...Rockaway Beach...etc past sand dunes and farm fields and near Portland lots on Vineyards.     ... in a haze of smoke is getting to me. We have talked to many hikers that say they or someone they know has become ill in the past days and are blaming the smoke as well.
