I have included yesterday's evening in Xiamen, after returning from the round houses into today's post. This brings me up-to-date and on the eve of my rail trip tonight that starts here in Xiamen and ends in Beijing 33 hours later!

I will only be here this one night before a bit of travel tomorrow to live in the round houses of the Hakka ethnic minority. The round houses, as you will see, were mistaken by the USA, back in the Cold War days, as missile silos!

"At 10.30 this morning I headed out for the day with someone from the school. We jumped in a taxi and went to see the university and a temple. After that we headed to his for lunch and we played PS3 til 3pm. Then we went out with another group to play a complicated puzzle game. It was a really fun but tiring day" - BigStu
The last few days have been a bit of a blur, and we have had limited access to Wifi, so here's a wee summary of our last few days.
"Our last day in Yuxi, it certainly didnt feel like that. First thing we ventured off to a sweet factory which made all sorts of fruit sweets. Second we had lunch on a giant spinny table - the biggest I've seen so far! Last of all we went back to the school for PE where we played football against the students" - BigStu
