    Santa Barbara is freakishly, almost perfect. It basks in pleasant, warm weather (84 degrees at 4pm as we arrived), nestles beneath a backdrop of mountains and sits on the Pacific. It was uniformly rebuilt, after yet another, devastating earthquake, in Mediterranean style with red roofed, white painted buildings and millions of palm trees.     ... all night. This could be because a) jalapeños wreaked havoc on my unconscious mind and b) that bed was just way to big. So comfortable though.
