This morning we drove through Slovenia's only National Park. The park covers a few mountains near the Slovenia, Italy, and Austria borders. The area was very well set up for cycling with about fifteen waymarked trails so we went off for a ride the next morning through the nice little coastal town and into the countryside - very enjoyable. When we arrived we were surprised to be greeted by boom gates and as it turned out vehicles were charged for the time spent in the town. We entered and drove along the waterside which was open to the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic on one side and with beautiful Venetian style architecture on the other.

We parked the car and ran to the closest gelateria ...

This morning we sat down and made a list of what we wanted in our Christmas Dinner. After not very long there were 3 different meats on the list, several dessert options and a lot of 'it wouldn't be Christmas if we didn't have x'. We decided to have a voting system on what everyone wanted and Lamb was the winner.

We headed to the supermarket and began our ...
