    rooms have two single beds in them. no gym facilities but those who stay here can use the gym at the nearby hotel compass. Restaurant in the hotel is good and within walking distance from other restaurants.

    ... and one of the best things about it is the lack of road traffic in the centre. Everywhere is pedestrian zones only. After demolishing an entire pizza (me), a massive bowl of pasta (Elle) and a huge veggie omelette (Canadian Lindsay) we thought it would be a good idea to walk off our meals by climbing up the hill to the castle.     ... blueberry liquor that would be all the rage if I could figure out how to get it onto the shelves at BevMo back home).

    Tomorrow we are planning to drive up to Celje in the north east to see the Zice Carthusian monastery. The monks are cloistered and silent so we won't be chewing the fat with them or anything... But they do make their own wines and spirits so we will do the Christian thing and support their monastic lifestyle...
