Finals & Fun, Day 2! [Day 87]

1:10PM: Just finished my Intercultural Paper - ten minutes over my goal, not too bad! We keep hearing gunshot noises from our tower, and heard them last night, too - took us a little while to figure out it's the moat cracking. Warmer today, with some rain (stop washing away my pretty snow!).

Finals & Fun, Day 1! [Day 86]
... the scenes from A Doll's House and those from A Zoo Story (which is by Edward Albee and now I must read it)! I am constantly impressed by the talent of my fellow Emersonians. Currently sitting on my favorite stair in our staircase, the one right above the second (upper) light with the arrowslit to my right. It's quite cold, as usual, but I hopefully won't be here longer than it takes to get me on the fourth page of my Intercultural essay!

I Will Survive Finals! [Day 84]
... tonight. I've been living off of a 20 that Lexie owed me plus some change I already had. Having quite a fun time budgeting - I've got €17.95 to work with until I get my 50 back when I return my bike tomorrow =(

I was amazingly alert for my last honors class, despite my lack of sleep. We had an extended, four hour class (we don't have a finals period) in which we learned about Bianca's trips to excavations, watched videos of adorable animals ...

... to the train station of #Eindhoven was equipped with an own ticket machine, and travelling on it felt like I had been in a tram or something. On all the way to the station, I could see the traditional square-shaped #Dutch houses and offices, high-rise buildings and semi-skyscrapers, I could even spot that the cycle path indicated by red asphalt, is physically divided from the road used by cars and motors.
