... the next tour. Info given by tour guide was overwhelming, but we understood his clapping of hands to hurry us up!! Lowering the flag at 5 pm with taps sent chills down our spine. A quick stop at Walmart was needed, but we were always in the wrong lane. Sis Terry text messaged me and wondered why we were going in circles!!! She follows us on Apple's Find a Friends app! We had left it a bit late to see everything, so we scooted about the site taking glimpses of the various displays, including one room with four original Claude Monet paintings. The owners clearly don't use a Dollar Store very often. It was a good stop-off and deserved closer inspection. Sadly, it closed at 5 and we were urged out into Burlington's rush-hour traffic.

After staying in some dirty, smelly motels along our route so far we checked AirBnB to see if there was anything a little nicer in the Adirondacks for some time away from Interstate roads. We were heading towards Point O Pines, Rachael's camp that I had heard so much about for the past 4 years, and then deeper into the Adirondack state ...
