So a few months ago me and my girlfriend Olivia were having a chat about the future. And in my typical fashion of avoiding adulthood and responsibilities I throw in "have you ever wanted to travel?" Anyway, to cut a long story short, here we are a few months later facing the adventure of a lifetime. To be fair it wasn't that simple. Once we decided we wanted to go, we thought the best thing to do was go to STA and find out what we needed to do. We turned up like a couple ...

... for main. Surprise, no desserts! We are in Gloucestershire (I think, at least I walked through it today. Who knows where a shire starts or finishes?) so local dishes have a bit of a head start.

It was a disappointing day but hopefully everybody ...

Yesterday (Saturday) we were fortunate enough to have our Sheffield tour guides - Leona and Nathan - show us the highlights of the the city.
As the tour de France was coming through Sheffield the following day there was a lot of action going on. Plus being a sunny day, everyone was out to catch some rays.
The city had beautiful architecture and wonderful old English buildings which left me feeling warm and cosy.
    We had ...

So my amazing boyfriend is away for the weekend and I have the night alone, so what a better way to spend it then a glass of wine and looking at re packing. I cannot believe that I have been home for 5 weeks with my fractured ankle and soft tissue damage, ankle remains swollen and sore but I'm definitely going to be flying next Friday 27th June, back to Seychelles overnight then off to Nairobi on 29th June for my 40 night trip around Africa. So excited and scared ...
