      Rooms and facilites were fine. Staff also very helpfull and friendly. Breakfast could be better.

      While we were talking at the Maple stand, the guy next to us said immediately, "Are you from New Zealand?". Which was unusual as 99% of the people ask Australia or England.
      He takes us over to his wife who is from Napier! Finally found a New Zealander here.

      ... From there we went to the greenhouse/gift shop and then the barn museum. We passed some of the functional buildings on our way to the final stop: the white garden which the head gardener talked about. The gardens were large and very nicely done - I saw some interesting plants - new to me. But I think the highlight was seeing the very impressive hotel building - it is huge - and much of it is old. I think probably any new parts ...

      ... Lobby for drinks with Robin. Bob drops in to say hello, signs some stuff and we take some photos.

      A quick bite and then off to the Opera House. Tonight the show starts at 7.00 pm, with the supportt being, sometime GP backing band and big GP fans, The Figgs. After a lively30 minute set it is intermission and then at 8.00 pm th e main show starts.

      The theatre is about the same size (940+), but is nowhere near full like the previous night. ...

      ... phone and we went to a Gelato place nearby...which I don't remember the name of. After devouring our desserts, since it was especially hot in the city today, we had to decide what to do for the next few hours. We, or should I say I, decided to go to Charlotte and Becca's apartment since it had air conditioning. For the next few hours, we all sat down on the floor and talked. I know, we're so boring...but it was a very nice conversation. ...
