... then many! I stood transfixed as I always do when snow falls!

The irony for me is that we had a mini holiday booked and I knew that even though I'd be waking to the wonder of settled snow, I'd have to walk through it and get on a train which would take me away from it!!!! It is a real privilege to live in a country where we can experience most of these things for free and I have always been sadened by the fact that many English people are so quick to get on ...

My friend Erika (pilot that Matthew works with) has "couch surfers" sometimes, today she had one from France. She had never been to Cambridge so we went punting on the Cam! It was so fun and such a beautiful day! It didn't even rain till we were almost done punting, perfect! We took a tour but Erika said in the summer they rent punts and go to other cities along the river ...

Just a lovely day cycling and walking around Cambridge.

      No Castles, No Cathedrals/Abbeys/Minsters.

Cambridge is a very bike oriented city and there are lovely little laneways with a real assortment of quaint old buildings all crammed on top of each other. The river was busy with punts in every direction and we wandered through the ...
