Pecos, Odessa Tx.
It's been 18 years since our Odessa Tx drama. Now, we are passing through for the first time since that dramatic, yet humorous night back in August of 1995. We had moved to Odessa to oversee a financial investment we had made in the area. The investment went sour; we hated the Odessa area; and just wanted to return home to the Pacific NW. Not much to see traveling across the Texas desert...abandoned cars, cows, chevy trucks, over the road truckers, refineries, oil pumpjacks and wind turbines. We made it to Pecos TX for the evening. Wanted to go out for dinner for some Texas BBQ but apparently no BBQ places are open ...

San Antonio was beautiful. The hotel kind of stunk but we got comped a couple of the nights. :)
We walked all over. It was cool because there was a anime convention in town and there were so many people walking around dressed up. We went on a trolley tour and learned so much.
It was great meeting up with my friend, Jana because we had never met before. :)
