I always had North Carolina on my radar as one of those states I definitely wanted to visit..I've seen so many pictures of it and it just drew me in. Anyhow, the state has 2 very different landscapes to it...The West side of the state is mountainous (not unlike what we have in Tamarack), therefore higher elevations, cooler temps, Forest land.
