Our reward for the long drive today was a fun, awesome dinner at Lambert's Cafe - Home of Throwed Rolls. The food here is wonderful and I didn't miss catching a single roll!

P.S. I ordered Hog Jowl which turns out to be a gigantic plate of thick, meaty bacon. No complaints here!

Pulled into Sikeston at 5pm. That's 730 miles road time. We got to meet the old smoky man who ran the campground and played harmonica with his singing dog. It's little nuggets like this that really put the color in our trips. Night johnboy. Ciao for now! Jill and all her ...

As quickly as it started, the black clouds moved away and we were all soaked but happy to see sunshine again.

... was. The food and price also. We shared a generous bowl of delicious brisas dip (beef, pico de gallo, cheese +) $3.49 and large plate heaped with salad and El Brio (1 beef and 2 chicken burritos) $5.99. Even the glasses of water were over-sized. So, with even a generous tip, we were out of there for under $15. That means we can eat at more expensive places other times and not feel guilty (not that we would anyway). When we get ...
