    We had a sleep in...hoorah! OK, so it was only until just after 7.30, but we'll take it. And we were greeted by rain. A downpour. It was rather nice after 5 weeks of almost no rain at all. Emma was so excited she disappeared and then reappeared in her rain jacket ready to jump out on the balcony.

    We found a lovely cafe a block away on Chippewa Square, a location in the Forest Gump movie, for breakfast and then jumped ...

    1. Monday, February 18, 2013 - We left around 10 and headed for a gas and Wal-mart stop before heading down to another barrier island and Fort McAllister State Historic Park and campground. Nice drive into the park with the large oaks just dripping with Spanish moss and the Ogeechee River on the left. Checked in and set up our camper on a site in the secluded campground.

    ... just now, only doing swim tests to work out classes. Which is hard seen as I'm in charge, the pool head isn't here today. After 3 hours of teaching it was lunch time. Baked potatoes and Greek salad. Best salad ever. This afternoon it's more swim tests and that's about it really, not a lot happening today. The evening activity is called gold rush.
