It is either blocked by the many homes that have private beaches or the beach is a state beach and it costs $10 to get into them. We would have been broke going into them all. ... as the real experience; and since you have seen pictures of Wrightsville Beach and the Outer Banks it is hard to not see them all as the same unless you actually stand on them…but it really is a nice beach to walk along, even in the freezing cold!

I left Tybee Island after that and parked my car back at the hotel and walked the short walk to Bull Street. Bull Street is the street in Savannah you walk along and get all of the beautiful squares that are ...

      4. No lawyers! Love that one.

Ended our evening with a drink on a rooftop terrace overlooking the Savannah river with a lightening show to the west. Got to watch a container ship, escorted by two tugs, make its way up river. Quite an impressive sight from that vantage point.
