I've got to quit being surprised by the comfort, quiet, friendly, well appointed BW hotels. This one was as good as they come. The front desk (Erin) was exceptional...wine and cheese upon arrival...what's not to like?
It's not home...but it's what I like away from home.

Q: What do you think about the fact that they probably ate the hawks that saved the people of the Oasis? What does this tell us about the world?

A: It tells me that people suck. People have a tendency to think that we are above other animals or even other people. For some reason we feel a sense of superiority over other things that is completely ...

... as it's such a lush day. There are some crazy characters down there. Just outside of muscle beach (where arnie was spotted) stood an oiled up black pensioner with a boom box standing in red pants just jamming along. He had probably just been to the herbal medicines shop where it's legal to buy weed if you have such conditions as sleep deprivation or back ache. Therefore any man and his dog (or boom box) could get a prescription for it. As you can imagine a very artsy ...

Day Three - LA to New Orleans

This was an early start day. The transfer service was booked for 5:45am local to get me to the airport. And then I found out the time of my flight had change to be an hour later. Thank god for free wifi and pancakes. It was a nice ride into the City from the airport. Driving behaviours haven't seemed to have ...
