I've got to quit being surprised by the comfort, quiet, friendly, well appointed BW hotels. This one was as good as they come. The front desk (Erin) was and cheese upon arrival...what's not to like?
It's not home...but it's what I like away from home.

Another early start as we had flights to catch. Jeff, Gail & Maria are going home and I am going to Santa Monica.

We said our goodbyes but it wasn't sad as I will be going to them on Wednesday.

The flight was late leaving as they said it was quite foggy in LAX. We sat on the tarmac for around 30 mins so I caught up on some sleep. When we finally did get here, we had to circle for a little while ...

We will continue our way down the coast, scuba diving and seeing national parks, finally ending in Singapore where Lisa and Stephanie will depart me. I will continue on to Borneo Malaysia to climb Mount Kinabalu (highest peak in Southeast Asia outside of Myanmar), visit the Orangutan Sanctuary, and scuba dive ...

      Venice Beach

Returned to Venice Beach in better spirits than our first hungover attempt. Found a car park right by the beach that was half the price being a week day. Entered the broad walk right by muscle beach, which is an outdoor gym right by the beach. There weren't as many steroided blokes as I expected, but still a few pumping iron. Took a photo from far away, as I would hate anyone taking a picture of me whilst at the ...

      Down Day

Took it easy today. Got caught up on laundry, took long walks, Ed planned to play golf, but on arriving at the local municipal golf course, decided not worth the $61 to play (non-resident). Sepulveda Complex, Balboa and Encino courses. The lack of rain is not helping the conditioning, plus VERY crowded. So back to Moorpark Drive, watched golf while the girls were shopping and Mousa was working. Had dinner at a local Italian restaurant. Wonderful ...
