I've got to quit being surprised by the comfort, quiet, friendly, well appointed BW hotels. This one was as good as they come. The front desk (Erin) was and cheese upon arrival...what's not to like?
It's not home...but it's what I like away from home.

... camera demo setup in a shopping centre off the Hollywood Blvd. We got to try out some pretty fancy cameras amongst the ice sculptures.

After lunch, we took the Big Red bus tour - a British double decker bus that took us around the main sights in Hollywood and Beverly Hills including Rodeo Drive and some of the high class homes of movie stars. Because we where in a double deck bus we got to peep over the walls into Paramount Pictures. We also learned ...

...Welcome to Hollywood! LA is amazing, it feels so different to last time I was here. Hollywood is right outside our apartment, and so much adventure already (it hasn't even been a week yet!!).... We arrive in Hollywood only to find out we need to wait for our room. Hungover and tired we wait at Denny's for a few hours, order a steak and use their free wifi to let Oz know about the crazy adventure had in Las Vegas. The hours go quick then we head up to our Sunset ...

... into LA to drop off the car. The drop of point was in a prestige Loews hotel. What a mission. No vehicle access to the hotel, no signage for Hertz, and when we parked in an adjacent car park we had to walk around for 20 mins to finally find the hertz office in a nondescript office somewhere behind reception. Precisely no concern was given by the disinterested girl that took our keys - welcome to LA! Crossed the street to a quieter area and summoned an Uber SUV (since ...

... back on at our own pace so we figured it was a good way to take our time looking around. We went through Beverly Hills first while listening to some history about the buildings and stuff. I'm not a fan of history but I found it interesting. We got off and walked around rodeo drive basically window shopping and staring at everyone that walked by hoping to find a celeb. No Brad Pitt. Pretty disappointing.
