We departed St Mary's at 0840 heading up the Potomac further for Breton Bay. The day was mostly cloudy and very cool, with winds NE 15-20, gusts to 25. We sailed downwind under main alone out of St. Mary's River. Once in the Potomac, fast close reach to close hauled on main and jib.
