They offer a walking-tour through the hostel every morning and I must say, I am very glad we joined that tour after spending the night there! Kirstie couldn't wait and googled the ghost stories (apparently this hostel is the most haunted place in Canada) before going to bed and consequently, she didn't sleep ...
... on the far side of Dow's Lake, crossed the locks with our bikes, and started our return journey on the other side of the canal.
It was so calm and peaceful, you would not think that you were in Canada's capital city!
After a good 2-hour ride, we rolled back into the city centre and viewed the famous stack of 8 locks ...

... Kingston. We made our way back into Kingston past the orchard that Mathew & Michelle worked at last fruit season then to the golf course Mathew is about to start work at. Later in the afternoon Mat & I went to Lemoine's Point Conservation Area for a run, Saw plenty of squirrels and even a racoon. At 6:30 we all headed back into town for dinner at 'The Red Door'. A very pleasant pleasant evening.
