Yesterday, I tried to fix my stay at a guest ranch in the Texas Hill Country. However, the ranch of my choice is closed for a week due to a family wedding. I have checked for alternatives, but I either do not like the ranch or it is way too expensive. Therefore, I will jump on a horse in New Mexico or Arizona. Naturewise I will like those states better anyways.
So, this forenoon I will hop in a bus to San Antonio. Jan 29th in the evening, I will fly to El Paso.

Oh my goodness! What a night! 8 girls in 1 room coming and going at any time of the night. Making loud noises, putting the light on, snorring crazy, clogging the toilet, jumping around in the upper bunk, very limited respect. Under these circumstances I had my difficulties catching sleep. Am I getting too old for a dorm?

... surprised they mentioned. Eating at Hickory Hollows Suggested by someone who used to live in Houston. Looked closed down for the outside. Deceptive because it was busy inside. $13 get you a plate of smoked BBQ brisket and 2 sides. Fries and coleslaw were my choices. You also get s bottomless huge jar of soda. Good value and taste way better than the pappas BBQ take out I had the night before. Yep. That's it. That's all I did in 2 days in Houston. One for nasa would have been ...

... order with hash brown. It also came with a side of grits, which are strange & hard to describe. Headed to the NASA Space Station, which was okay. Highlight was probably the exhibition on the mission to Mars which had recent photos taken by the rover on Mars. Found most of the museum was geared towards children, we had quite a lot of fun making paper aeroplanes. I would only recommend it ...
