While there weren't really any "wow" features of the museum, the kids kept busy the entire time we were there. Even Isaac (14) found exhibits to interact with for almost the entire time. Sat downstairs watching the morning light arrive. Still dark at 7 am but it was finally light at 8. not sure I would be able to cope with that. but next week when daylight saving finishes, it will change for the people living here. No rush this morning for breakfast. Made a few sandwiches and packed the little cooler for a day out.

Slept in which was so lovely. Sun is getting up later and the foggy morning also helped. Nice to have a home breakfast courtesy of Madge's kitchen.
It was still quite foggy when we headed for the local farmer's market in South Bend. It is open 3 times a week and they sell fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, baked goods and then some craft items. I was intrigued by the number of varieties of apples on sale. So many that I had not heard ...
Started with another foggy morning. 46 F. Off on the road at a little after 8.30 and headed for Starved Rock State Park. The fog was still over the Illinois River at the park when we arrived at the rock. We could just make out the lock on the other side of the river.
